Introduction

Shingalana Lion & Rhino Game Reserve is a family run and owned business that was established 15 years ago by Kobus & Rina Jacobs. Shingalana was also one of the first Game Reserves in the North West Province, South Africa, that started a Lion breeding project. We currently have3 of the Big 5 species, namely: Lion, Rhino and Buffalo.

We vaunt with a large variety of game species, where you will find among others: Hippopotamus, Sable (antelope), Kudu (antelope), Giraffe, and many more. a Game Drive in a open game vehicle wil give you the chance to see 3 of the Big 5 as well as 25 different game species, also the intense Lion Breeding facility of ± 100 lions.

Shingalana Game Lodge consists of 5, - 4 bed, - thatched chalets, each with their own bathroom, a exclusive bar with a lounge, and a TV and Radio, a lapa with braai (barbeque) facilities and a fully equipped kitchen with dining space for 30 persons.
